We previously reported that Jason Mesnick would be returning to the Bachelor/Bachelorette enterprise, but this time as the bachelor handing out the roses. Reality TV spoilers has a little bit of a Bachelor spoiler per People Magazine which says that Jason Mesnick is engaged after the filming of this season of the Bachelor.

Looks like Bachelor fans will really enjoy this season with Jason finding love.

ET breaks the news that Jason Mesnick, 32, will be the next star of “The Bachelor” coming to ABC in January 2009.

Female fans crumbled after he dropped to one knee, proposed marriage and got turned down on the season finale of the latest installment of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.” But now he’ll have another shot at finding true love!

Mesnick, the single dad and Seattle-based account executive, will have another shot at finding love while dating 25 hopeful contestants.

Mesnick is a sports enthusiast who is looking for women with a passion for life.

This is an interesting piece of news since Jason Mesnick was so sad to be away from his son. I wonder if the Bachelor will allow him to bring his son with him to stay with him at night and just have a nanny watch the kid while he goes on his dates. Seems reasonable to me.

It should be interesting to see if Jason Mesnick has the appeal of other bachelors. He’s such a soft spoken guy that will have to see if Jason as Bachelor will make good television or not.
