Back when I was going on my mission to Italy I met a missionary who was from Raleigh, NC. He is one of the nicest and funniest guys I’ve ever met. The guy was completely hilarious. Honestly, I’m not sure why the fact that he was from Raleigh, NC stuck with me, but it did. I guess it’s possible that it stuck with me, because soon after this time the LDS church dedicated a new temple in Raleigh, NC. I thought that was pretty neat that a temple was in such a cool place (at least that’s what my friend described to me).

After looking at the Visit Raleigh site that is hosting the contest, I was impressed with all the cultural entertainment that was available like NC Theatre’s production of Man of La Mancha or I also saw that they are presenting Mamma Mia. My wife and I saw Mamma Mia here in Vegas and it was quite funny and entertaining. Visit Raleigh also had a number of interesting Fall Getaway. Since Las Vegas just went from the 100 degree heat of summer and went straight to the freezing cold winter, I’m ready for a Fall Getaway.
