Welcome to Something for Nothing

We are taking a trip to Hawaii. We are very excited to be going back to where we use to live. The long flight over with two kids isn’t so appealing but the beautiful beaches and seeing the many friends we have left behind sound ohh so wonderful. I can’t wait.

We are planning on hitting Oahu and maybe Maui. We have lots of friends on Oahu so we will get to spend good quality time with them. As well as visit our old stomping grounds. I can’t wait to go to Ted’s Bakery and get an awesome chocolate pie. Mmm my mouth is already watering. We will also hit up the Polynesian Cultural Center, where I use to work. And of course we will hit the beaches on the north shore and get some Shaved Ice too.

We have never been to Muai and so we are going to start looking at Maui vacation rentals. Rental homes sure beat staying in hotels. And usually the rentals are big, spacious and right on the beach. They are in the middle of everything yet still far enough away so you don’t feel like you are in a tourist trap.

I am so very excited to be going back to paradise. I wish we were leaving today.

I know this is old news, but I think it is amazing that there is going to be a fourth Indiana Jones. Isn’t Harrison Ford too old? George Lucas is a genius.

Lucas said he and Steven Spielberg had recently finalised the script, and promised it was “the best one yet”.

Actor Harrison Ford will return as the titular star of the film, which is due to hit cinemas in May 2008.

Should be interesting to see how this turns out. Reminds me of the latest version of Rocky and Sylvester Stallone. In the end, I just don’t see how you can do any better than Last Crusade. That show just rocked.
