Caillou is Annoying

My son likes to watch Caillou on PBS. I hate it. I don’t usually let him watch it because I don’t want the show to teach him bad things. The show is about a 4 year old boy names Caillou and he whines and throws fits like normal 4 year olds. But I don’t want my kid to get any more ideas on how to be annoying.

One show had Caiilou getting out of bed a thousand times asking for a cup of water or to use the bathroom. He said he was afraid of monsters, he needed to read some more books and lots more. All I could think of is my child does none of things just yet so please don’t teach him to do them.

So Caillou is banned at my house. I will stick to Curious George and Clifford. That way if he learns something bad from those shows I can tell him only Monkeys and Big Red Dogs are allowed to act that way.

    1. # Marc Borror commented on September 28th, 2008:

Caillou Whinestein is the ultimate advertisement for birth control. You never see the parent working, they constantly pawn their kids off on the grandparents and give into every single whiney request that insufferable little monster demands.

If Caillou were a real child, he would have “accidentally” drowned in the bathtub.
