Living Large In Las Vegas
Written by: JohnI live in Las Vegas! I have lived here for 2 years now and I can’t begin to explain how much I have seen this place grow in this short time span.
It seems like every area of Las Vegas is growing. There is construction every where. Constantly new casinos being built. I heard a statistic awhile ago (albeit I don’t know know how accurate it is) that for every casino built 20,000 new jobs are created. Maybe that is why the unemployment rate is so low here.
Because so many people are moving people are moving to Vegas the housing market has skyrocketed. There are new housing communities going up all over the place. Las Vegas Real Estate is actually hitting a low right now and so now is the best time to look at the MLS listings buy a house weather it be a brand new house or a re-sale.
Some come to the desert and join us here in Las Vegas. There is plenty to do to keep you busy.

Watch Favorite Shows Online Any Time You Want
Written by: JohnI love being able to watch my favorite shows online. It is nice to know that if I miss an Episode of my favorite Grey’s Anatomy that I can watch it the next day online. I just learned Dancing With The Stars has it shows streamed online too. My husband will be so happy. Now if only we could get some of those Sunday night shows, like Amazing Race or Extreme Makeover.
Business Cards-Great Designs
Written by: JohnMy husband won a business plan competition last year and has been busy meeting investors who want to help him set up his business. The first time he met with some investors they asked for his business card. He didn’t have one. He quickly learned it was important to have business cards to hand out so people would remember him.
And what better way to be remembered than to have quality business cards made with a great, professional design. I found a great website, 123print.com that was easy to use, had a great variety of business cards to chose from and that were reasonably priced. They had a lot of other great products available too much cheaper than the one big printing place I hate because they rip you off.
It is nice to have great products that are reasonably priced at the click of a mouse.
Easter
Written by: JohnI couldn’t help but wonder how much candy we as Americans buy and consume at Easter. It seems that every turn I took in every store I went were display after display of Easter treats. Thanks to google I am able to do a little research. According to this first site I looked up, Sweet Easter Treats Americans consume more candy at Easter than all other holidays, excluding Halloween. Be prepared to be sick—-we on average spend close to 2 billion dollars on Easter Candy. Gross!
The site also tells you which way most Americans perfer to eat our chocloate bunnies-ears first, feet last. And we eat moe Peeps than any other non-chocolatey treat. This surprised me I thought jellybeans we be at the top.
Have a Hoppy Easter!

Throw up-Good Carpet Cleaner
Written by: JohnDoes anyone know of a good cleaner? I have a three year old that constantly throws up his food. It isn’t because he is sick. It’s because he thinks he is choking and instead of spitting the food out in the trash he gets all worked up until he makes himself vomit. It is gross. And I am sure you don’t want to hear about it. But this is what I live with daily. It all started when he choked on a cracker more than a year ago and stopped breathing for a second.
I am sick of cleaning up all the throw up and now need a good carpet cleaner to get out all the nasty stains. Any suggestions are welcome.
Car trouble-The Trouble is Finding The Right One
Written by: JohnWhen my husband and I got married neither one of us had a car. It wasn’t too bad because the town we lived in had a Transportation System and if you were a college student you could ride the bus for free. We rode that bus a lot.
Now that we have been married for 4.5 years we have bought four different cars and each experience has been horrible. We hate dealing with the annoying sales people. That is why I love looking at cars online. You can look around without any pressure. We look for Used Cars For Sale.and are able to search for the exact car we are looking for.
I love the sites where you can also list your old car so you can Sell it afford to buy a better, newer car. We have had success with selling our cars online. And the next we need to buy a new vehicle we are going to skip going to the dealership and just look online where it is faster and easier to find what we want without being hassled by anyone being paid based on commission.

Another Bad Product
Written by: JohnOkay let me start off by saying I don’t usually complain about products I buy. It just happened that this week I got to bad products . The first my Huggies diapers, that I already vented about. And now the usually wonderful Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks. I bought a box of fruit snacks to bring with me on my trip to Utah Sunday. And when I opened them today the first pouch I pulled out was sealed but empty. There were no fruit snacks in there. Now if someone could miss putting in an empty pouch of fruit snacks into my box than what else could they have messed up on? I just hope the rest of the box is safe to eat. There have been so many new cases of food contamination and I don’t want to get sick from indulging in fruit snacks. Of course with that said, I am actually amazed with how much food is produced and distributed that more mistakes aren’t made and that more people aren’t sick.
Back to my fruit snacks. I wrote Kellogg’s today and they send me back an email apology right away. Thanks Kellogg’s.
I Love Vonage
Written by: JohnThose of you who know me well know how much I love Vonage. For those of you who don’t know what Vonage it is Voice over-Internet Phone. In lay-man terms, phone that runs through your internet.
I pay $25 a month and get all the free long distance I want. And the international rates are wonderful. In fact my husband who lived in Italy is elated that calls to Italy with Vonage are Free. Yes I said free.
Another great thing about Vonage is you can take it with you when you go on vacation and hook it up to any internet source. We have done this a few times when we have visited my in-laws. And plan to make the phone available to them while they watch our kids while we are in Italy next month.
I just learned that Vonage has many different forums where you can become more educated about it services. I am excited to go and read them and see what more I can learn about this wonderful company.
I tell you you will not be disappointed if you go with Vonage. And if you do don’t forget to mention my name as a referral so I can get a months free.

Sticky Diapers
Written by: JohnThere is nothing worse than being awoken in the middle of the night to a screaming baby who needs a diaper change to a diaper that won;t cooperate.
My last bad of Huggies has had at least 6 different diapers that have the sides still glued shut. That means no matter how hard I try to open the sides and not tear the diaper they still tear. It is highly annoying. I didn’t pay $25 for diapers that tear before even being used.
I made sure I emailed the Kimberly-Clark company today and let them know I wasn’t happy with their product. Maybe they will send me a coupon for some free diapers. But is it worth it if the next bag is the same and I just get so frustrated in the middle of the night?
