Bye Weeks Suck in Fantasy Football

Written by: John

A bunch of my friends from my previous job have put together a Fantasy Football league for us all to stay in touch. It’s interesting to see how we’ve spread throughout the country after graduating from college.

Well, I’ve been hating life this week and last week in Fantasy Football. I have so many people on their bye weeks that I barely have enough people playing. To add to my Fantasy Sports nightmare week, I’m stuck with 3 starting quarterbacks and I only need to start one quarterback.

Oh well, if you don’t know already, I’m very interested in Fantasy Sports since I’m working on a Fantasy Sports Fundraiser. Fantasy Sports is so addicting. My favorite part of fantasy sports is that I actually love watching almost every NFL football game now because almost every game has either one of my or my opponents players. What’s my wife going to do with me?

BYU Football’s Bye Week - My Take on Other Sports

Written by: John

I’m an incredible BYU football fanatic. I absolutely love watching the games and reading all about the team. This year is looking pretty promising after we knocked off TCU at TCU. It would have been really nice if we could have taken down either Arizona or Boston College. We were close in both games, but couldn’t quite pull it out.

Well, this week BYU football has a bye week and so I have to find other sports to entertain me. Thankfully, this is a great time of year. The playoffs are the only part of baseball that are really worth watching other than watching the rankings of my Texas Rangers. I am excited to see that Detroit is up 3 games on Oakland. I don’t know why, but I’ve never liked Oakland and I like the makeup of this Detroit Tigers team.

Of course this weekend will have plenty of football. Plenty of drama last weekend with TO’s return to Philadelphia. I arrived in Dallas with about 5 minutes left in the game. I think all these Texas cowboys were going to beat me up when I cheered when Philly intercepted Drew Bledsoe. Too bad ESPN radio was junk the rest of my time in Texas as they talked about the Cowboys the whole time.

Basketball preseason is even starting up. Before long we’ll have both football and basketball to enjoy. That’s what I’m talking about!! My wife just loves this time of year. It’s like it makes ESPN’s sportscenter interesting again.

Also, what’s up with all this problems with planes in New York by sports professionals? Have you read these 2 stories?
