Fox’s Celebrity Duets

Tonight on Fox’s Celebrity Duets Lea Thompson was sent home. I can’t say that I’m addicted to Celebrity duets. In fact, I really don’t like the show, but for some reason I seem drawn to watch it to see who’s going to be on the show next. I’m really impressed with the amount of talent they’ve been able to sing duets with singers like Cheech Marin, Lucy Lawless, Carly Patterson, Hal Sparks, Jai Rodriguez and Alfonso Ribeiro.
My hope is that Lucy Lawless will win it all. A couple of her songs have been incredibly impressive.
I have to admit that I think the best judge on the board is David Foster. I love it because the guy really knows what he’s doing. Marie Osmond hasn’t completely embarrassed herself and Little Richard is crazy.
So far my favorite star on Celebrity Duets is by far Gladys Knight. I am a little biased since she is pretty much a neighbor, but honestly she is a performer through and through.

I think Jai is going to win. I have been impressed by the quality of talented celebrity guest singers they’ve been getting, too! Not sure who my favorite so far is, though… I was surprised Lea went home so soon - I think it was probably more because of her over the top antics than her singing, because she sings pretty well.
