Welcome to Something for Nothing

Anyone who’s been reading this blog for a while knows that I love ITALY!! It is one of my passions. I hope I get to live there again one day. Well, when I went back to Italy for a visit after living there I had one goal in mind. That was to visit a little town called Sorrento on the coast of Italy. I had never been there before and I had only one goal in visiting this town: Purchase Sorrento Music boxes.

It was way out of my way, expensive to visit and I barely had time to go, but it was well worth my time when I returned home with 2 fantastic music boxes.

It would be good enough if the story ended there. However, those 2 purchases were the best music box gifts. The first one I saved for my future wife. We got married a few days before Christmas. That left us on our honeymoon over Christmas. You can imagine her surprise when her new husband gave her a music box. Pretty sweet!! It was the perfect gift to show my softer side, but still give her something cool.

The second one I gave to someone that became fantastic friends with my wife and I. I can’t describe to you how amazed she was when I brought out a music box for her farewell gift. There’s just something special and memorable about getting a music box.

I think this year I’m going to see about getting my wife a Disney music box.

I love seeing them before they made it on the TV show. I also loved the angle the camera was at with the mirror.

I’ve been very interested in watching many of the recent podcasts by Estelle Reyna, a latin supermodel. They have been really interesting and always leave me longing to go on vacation to these exotic places. I just came across a video she did for Panama City, Panama and what’s available in Panama. I have to admit that I don’t know that much about Panama. However, I do remember watching Survivor last season and one of the rewards was that the 2 contestants were flown to Panama where they got to go down the Panama Canal. That was enough for me to want to go to Panama.

The video of Panama City, Panama does a very good job showing all of the various things you can see. In fact, it showed so many things to do that I’m sure you’d have to only pick a couple. My wife and I love to travel and since she speaks spanish I think Panama would be a great place. The thing we like most about visiting central america is seeing the people. Here’s one example of that:

I just love the culture that you can see and feel in the people of a country. It’s fantastic. The kids are really the best part of it all. They are so vibrant and full of energy and curious about everything in life. I think that every country is beautiful if you look at the children from that country. They have a spirit that is exhilerating. Now if I could just get enough days off work.

It was really funny when my wife found a picture of Reyna on the computer. I don’t think my wife was concerned(she shouldn’t be). However, she kind of shocked me. She said, “Wow…that girl is really pretty.” I’ve never heard my wife say that about many girls. It kind of took me by surprise. I guess Reyna has something special. I’d have to say I agree with my wife.
