Today was chaos at church. All the primary kids were on something. They were all wired. You add in a miserable headache and it just made everything ten times worse.
Two of my kids fell asleep in sacrament meeting and so they went home early. That left one. He was hyper. Then they added a visitor to my class when technically he was a year older. He was good just loved to talk.
The primary presidency fed all the kids ice cream. Some kids got cookies for filling out a questionnaire and some got prizes and treats for reading the friend. Can you say Sugar overload?
Maybe if they shared some of that sugar with me it wouldn’t helped me feel better about all the chaos.
The kids sang so loud (and didn’t know any of the words) I had to plug my ears. I could still hear them loud and clear (well as clear as you hear mumbled made up words).
Then to top it all off Alessia had a major blow out in nursery. They couldn’t find John so they came and got me. I found John and he opted to clean up a messy baby rather than the messy floor. Luckily for me when I got to nursery someone else was in the process of cleaning up and being the super nice lady that she is refused my offers of helping to clean up my daughter’s mess.
I thought I fed her too much apple juice but no after church John and I got whatever Alessia has. Good thing tomorrow is a holiday. We are all going to need the extra day to recuperate from church, ya know the place where you go to find peace and contentment. I guess there is always next week.

THEY FED THE KIDS ICE CREAM? Are they insane? How did they work that?
Did you guys get over the bug yet? Hope so.

So not fair to the teachers to pump up the kids with sugar.
One time they brought Mason to me because they couldn’t find Chad. The primary secretary stayed with my class while I dealt with messy Mason. Well, turns out, Mason didn’t have a dirty diaper… someone elses poop somehow got all over my son’s pants. Can you say disgusting? yeah, I almost threw up.
I get back to my class and it is complete chaos. The secretary looks at me with big eyes and says I need help with my class. Duh, I’d already asked for a co-teacher but nothing had happened. Anyways… I don’t really know what this has to do with what you posted other than I can sympathize with crazy Sundays and nasty poop diapers :).
