As most of the readers of this blog know, Kristine’s Birthday is on Monday May 14th. Plus, Mother’s Day is on Sunday. As a means of celebrating these two events, I’m going to spotlight Kristine every day until her birthday next Monday.

Anyone who knows Kristine is abundantly familiar with her completely selfless attitude. It’s something that continues to astound me. She almost never thinks of herself before others. She is unwilling to inconvenience someone else for her benefit. In fact, so much so that she often finds herself overwhelmed, because she doesn’t want to impose upon anybody else. She’s completely selfless. She’s always about helping others and doing good.

As I thought about this characteristic I realized that this is a characteristic that my mother has. As a child I always wanted to marry someone like my mother. Turns out I did. Turns out that her selflessness is like another, even Jesus Christ. He went about doing good and thought little of providing for himself. He was about his Father’s business. My dear wife strives to do the same. Kristine is a selfless wife, selfless mother, selfless leader and selfless friend.
