Last weekend John flew to Utah. He went to an Ultimate Frisbee tournament called Daweena with a bunch of his old Ultimate friends. John loves Ultimate. So much so that within the fist 8 hours of Curtis’s birth he had Curtis holding his very first frisbee. Curtis is in love with frisbees too. As I write this he is playing with two real frisbee and three lids to bowls that he pretends are frisbees. He is a nut just like his father.

It was such a great weekend. Here’s a few thoughts on the weekend and memories I’ll take from it.
A few things that made me remember playing at BYU:
-Tanner stepping up and playing after not playing for ever
-My first captain Aaron Miller instructing the team
-Nephi’s 40 foot scoober for a score
-Nephi’s 80 foot huck for a score
-Little Mike barking at me from the sideline
Things I didn’t expect:
-Aaron Miller skying someone on D in the end zone
-Nephi not getting beat deep
-Carl’s hammer score
-Nephi’s profanity laced tirade on the opponent
