BYU vs. CSU Streamed Online

BYU has announced that the BYU football game against Colorado state will be streamed online again. It’s called pay-per-view live video streaming. Here’s a description of the service:

This live online pay-per-view streaming broadcast is being offered for the BYU vs. CSU game for $14.95. The online broadcast will include live streaming game video from kick-off to post game. There are no blackout areas for the internet broadcast.

You can sign up for the live online broadcast at the CSTV website. I still can’t see myself paying $14.95 for a game where BYU is probably just going to stomp CSU.

Of course the BYU Athletics website is giving the following update on MWC satellite negotiations:

As of Tuesday, Oct. 31, THE MTN. is not available on satellite. CSTV/Comcast are still negotiating with the national providers to make the mtn. available via satellite. We understand many of our alumni and supporters live outside the Intermountain West and broadcast options such as live Internet broadcasts are very important.

We realize this additional broadcast opportunity is not ideal for everyone. However, the MWC and BYU are trying to find other ways to make the games available to fans all over the world.

Of course BYU vs. CSU is on the MTN. That should help about 3 of you that read this.
