Postseason for Both BYU Men’s and Women’s Basketball

I really can’t believe that BYU even made it to the NIT and had the chance of going to the NCAA tournament. Ok, so that was a long shot, but until they lost in the MWC tournament they were on the bubble. If they make it to the finals I wouldn’t have been surprised if BYU would have made it in the place of Air Force. From being picked last(which is never right) to the NIT is a pretty great thing for BYU.

More importantly is I should herald the fabolous BYU women’s team. I expect to see some good things. It looks like they have a pretty hard bracket ahead of them, but Judkins is one of the best I’ve seen at preparing teams for postseason play. Remember BYU’s win against perennial women’s powerhouse Tennessee?

Let’s hope we can now take it to the next level and start winning some games in the post season. If BYU men’s team goes to the NIT and just loses that will be a dissappointing season in my book. I guess I should start getting use to it. At least until August when football season and all the anticipation starts all over again.

One of my friends here in Vegas told me that the reason people like slot machines is because the anticipation of what’s going to happen has similar effect as drugs(heroin I believe) on the brain. My wife would argue, what are you trying to antipate? You know they’re going to lose. Ignoring her, maybe next year.
