BYU Football Season Review

Offense
Biggest Surprise: Harline has to take it. Every recruit comes with great stats and a great outlook. He actually showed it.
I can’t take Beck since he was expected to be a little better and he was. I can’t give props for doing what was expected

Biggest Disappointment: Todd for sure. Although I don’t know that it was all his fault. I don’t think the offense was really designed for his style of play. He needs the explosive Crowton plays instead of the short chunks that Anae brings.

Defense
Biggest Surprise:
Linebacker core. I think our linebackers played solid and did a good job clogging the middle.
Biggest Disappointment:
Injuries and tackling. I don’t know how you avoid injuries, but BYU seemed to take it hard. I don’t think I need to say more about tackling.

Overall
Biggest Surprise:
Bowl Game

Biggest Disappointment:
Defense(or lack therof)
