Open Practices on Web Cam
Written by: JohnEvery year there are a certain set of practices that are open to the public to enjoy. I think this is a fabulous thing for BYU fans to enjoy seeing the players and to see how a college practice gets started. Unfortunately, the seats aren’t very good for these practices and often you can’t see from where you are anyway. Thus my idea.
The LDS Church can stream conference over the internet. How about BYU athletics stream the open practices so that the rest of us around the world(since BYU is an international school) can enjoy these practices from soft seats and no matter where we’re found in the world. With so many members of the church in positions of power in the IT industry you’d think someone could foot the bill for this project. Or why doesn’t the Center of E-business in the Marriott School of Business do it as a project to benefit alumni.
Let me know and I’ll participate in setting it up and even share some of my bandwidth. Of course I’d have a direct link to it on my site also.
