I was reading the following recruiting article:
McCoy Looks Forward to Provo Visit

I think it is excellent that BYU is scouting some speed at cornerback. It is definitely needed. The problem I have reading all of these scouting reports is how do you know if the guy can REALLY play? I don’t think I’ve read one scouting report that said this guy sucks and I’m not sure he can really excel at the next level. If they threw a few of those in there then maybe I could start believing the guy can play.

I guess the real problem is that everyone(or nearly everyone) that gets a scholarship to a Div 1 program is going to have a great resume. After that I think it’s just a crap shoot whether the guy will be good or not. Correct me if I’m wrong.
