Watching BYU vs. UCLA on ESPN Gamecast

Written by: CrashUtah

Many of you internet users should be familiar with ESPN’s gamecast. At least I think that’s what it’s called. It’s basically a place where you can watch the scores, stats and play by play of a game. Well, I was stuck in class for the BYU vs. UCLA basketball game. I was lucky to have a relatively flaky internet connection that allowed me to watch the play by play on ESPN gamecast.

Here’s my take on the game just watching the play by play listed on ESPN gamecast. By the way, I would love the video of the game if someone has it, but I digress.

BYU didn’t seem to take good shots to start off the second half and that’s why UCLA got back in the game.

When it was close BYU got the ball to our star in the post Plaisted and he couldn’t deliver. I wondered why I didn’t see his name coming up at all. I found out later it was because he was in foul trouble.

As UCLA really started to pull away BYU panicked and Broadus jacked up a three to try and keep it close.

There were way too many turnovers in the second half for BYU to win.

The first half BYU shot lights out, especially behind the 3 point line and that’s why they were in the game.

UCLA needs to work on their free throws.

How did I do without seeing the game?
