BYUTV and Rebroadcasting BYU Games

Written by:

I’ve been really pleased with a new website for BYUTV that allows you to watch the BYU Television feed on the internet. It was fabolous to watch the First Presidency Christmas devotional from home. My only requests is that they start putting BYU games on there. I’d be fine if they even do it a few days later. Living outside of Utah we just don’t get tape on many games(espescially basketball) and it would be nice to see the team on video because it’s a different experience.

Weber State Win

Written by:

A dominating performance throughout. I was most pleased with BYU’s ability to not just coast through the second half. They actually outscored them in both halfs. We still had poor starts in both halfs and that’s dissapointing. This is a nice win and it is great to be at 6-2. Where do we go from here? I’m just really scared of that Air Force team that is always a miserable game.

CSTV Contract with MWC

Written by:

When the MWC signed a contract with CSTV it seemed like it was a unique contract compared to other conferences. I thought this was great, because I’d hoped that the Mountain West Conference could get a little more attention. However, in my experience on CSTV and cstv.com it doesn’t seem like we are any different than other conferences and maybe even less.

Maybe I was wrong and our contract is basically nothing. I just wish they would do something more for the MWC if there spending all the money on us.

Vegas Bowl

Written by:

Whoever decided to move the Vegas bowl from Christmas day to December 22 is a genius. I love BYU football more than the next person, but Christmas day is just a hard day to actual attend a bowl game. However, what a great Christmas present on December 22!! I did make a stupid mistake by not purchasing a ticket to the game. What was I thinking? I had plenty of opportunities and now tickets are selling for a couple hundred dollars thanks to the sold out crowd. Sam Boyd’s going to be rockin and thanks to BYU being invited first I think the crowd will be decidely friendly for BYU.

Now let’s just hope we can get a win to gain momentum going into next year and recruiting.

Weber State Game

I was more than surprised to read that BYU hasn’t lost to Weber State at home. This is amazing to me since my latest recollections of games against Weber State were close games and I believe a couple losses. Let’s hope my latest recollections are wrong and that history holds in the fabolous Marriot Center.
