BYU Volleyball in NCAA’s
Written by: JohnI’m glad that BYU women’s volleyball has returned to the post season. I was always glad to read throughout the season that they were winning again. Let’s just hope that don’t do like men’s basketball and women’s soccer and play horribly in the tourney.
Mission Helps BYU Football
Written by: JohnI’m still agast by the fact that someone came back from a mission and actually is going on to help BYU football (see article). Enough Ben Olsen for BYU. It’s about time that BYU tap the mission reservoir. If he returns anything like Dallas Reynolds then we’ll be happy. Unfortunately, I don’t see much help for a couple years.
By the way, is Coach Reynolds having any more kids? If he’s not what is BYU going to do for linemen?
Daily Universe Article
Written by: JohnI saw an article put out by BYU’s very own Daily Universe. It’s title was BYU baseball signs recruits
That’s insightful! I guess BYU signing recruits for baseball is a step in the right direction.
Bowl Game Festivities?
Written by: JohnI found an ad by BYU athletics about the “festivities” that are being held for the bowl game in Vegas.
Take a look at the link and tell me what could be of any worth on that list. The only one I am remotely interested in is the Buffet bowl where you get to see some 300 pounders go at it. Even better would be to have the cheerleaders participate. On second thought, that’s a horrible idea. Watching BYU cheerleaders that probably have some eating disorder fake like they are enjoying stuffing their faces. I’m not sure if there would be more giggles or eating if they participated. No offense to cheerleaders, but do you really do anything at football games? I guess I don’t have a problem with you there since you’re nice to look at, but don’t act like you help the football team win.
Either way you’d think BYU could put together something worth attending for the bowl game. I expect to get some alumni letter inviting me to participate too. Wonder if they’ve figured something good out.
