Electricity Through Radio Waves

Sometimes you come across articles that are just too amazing to believe. This is one of those concepts that just makes you stop and wonder about what they’ll think of next. I guess that’s what makes technology so great. Here’s the description from the article

A Pennsylvania entrepreneur has developed technology that gives you all the battery juice you need directly from the air.

A little bit of a misleading title, but the Business 2.0 article talks about someone who has found a way to transmit electricity using radio waves. UNBELIEVABLE!!

That really is something else. I can’t even imagine the various uses for that type of product. It kind of makes you wonder what’s flying through the air. WOW!!

Hello, i’m an 8th grade student who would like to inform you that this “revolutionary” method that this man “invented” has already been invented by Nikola Tesla. This was demonstated when he lit up 200 lightbulbs and an electric motor at a distance of 26 miles.

    Thanks for the comment Chris.

Actually if you look into this technology you’ll see that it’s building on what Tesla did. This isn’t revolutionary because the concept is new, but the problem with Tesla’s work is that he never found a way to scale it so that people could use it. My hope is that those working on this now will be able to do what Tesla was unable to accomplish and spread it to the masses.

I thought that he also had wireless lights in his colorodo springs lab. Not to mention the number of people who are using tesla coils right now to power things wirelessly.

I also feel that if Tesla had finished Wardenclyffe communications facility then i wouldn’t have almost tripped coming into the room to comment.

I think that this is absolutly amazing!!! Imagine what kind of “gadgets” we will have in the future if this catches on!

This was not recently invented Nikola Tesla pioneered this notion and it has been accomplished many times since
