Quality LDS Oriented Content on the Web

I recently got an email on my main website that is like a city search for Utah County. I wasn’t sure what to think of the email. It was from an organization that wanted to promote quality LDS content on the web. I thought this was a noble purpose since so many people have LDS people all mixed up. However, I wasn’t sure how to respond. I’ve copied the email below to show you what they said.

My name is {Name REMOVED} and I’m a representative for the More
Good Foundation
. Your site is a great resource for people exploring what Utah
has to offer – we are able to help you provide content for those who may be less
familiar with the Church.

The More Good Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping
identify, develop, and promote positive LDS-oriented information on the
Internet. (You can read more about the Foundation at
www.moregoodfoundation.org.) I think it would be helpful to the people visiting
your site if you included some articles related to the Church, such as articles
about some of its basic beliefs, or about Joseph Smith or Jesus Christ. These
don\’t have to be huge articles; just some content that explains who Mormons are
and what they believe. I could easily see a series of such unique articles on
your site that would provide helpful information to your visitors.

This is where the More Good Foundation can help out. We can provide articles
like these so that you can post them easily. The articles would already be
keyword optimized for relevant search terms, and they would include links to
related information on your site and at non-commercial external sites. You, of
course, would be under no obligation to post the articles if you felt they would
detract from your site’s focus or if you felt they were somehow not up to a
level of quality you would like to see.

Again, this is free. We do this because we want good quality LDS-oriented
information available on lots of sites around the Internet.

This all really raises the question of whether I should start a crashutah blog. I’ve considered it a few times, but I’m afraid I’d probably just transgress it.
