Forum Monkey

I think I must have multiple personalities online. Some days I want to blog. Other days I want to be on forums. Other days I want to read other blogs. Other days I want to read digg. Well, really it’s probably more like by the hour.

All of that said, lately I find myself really leaning towards forums. In fact, I’ve been spending way to much time at PayPerPost forums. It’s tough. I want to know what’s going on. Plus, I think Ted and froogle do a good job of keeping them very interesting. In fact, they drive you nuts with the little hints they drop on the boards. Sometimes I just want to run them up a tree until they tell me what they have in mind.

I do have to give PayPerPost credit for doing a great job keeping the PPP community interested. I’m participating in another forum/community and you can tell that they are not marketers and don’t know how to manage a community. Ted is a marketer through and through and does an amazing job selling the PayPerPost product and developing a community. I wish that the same could be said for some of the other forums I’m on.

Now if Ted could only find a way for me to make money posting to a forum then I’d be really happy. Forums are just too much fun because of the interaction that occurs.
