Flat Monitor Screens You Can Roll Up

I’ve been waiting for this technology to finally mature. The BBC announced today that the technology is ‘moving closer.’
Can you imagine what it means to have a screen that you could roll up and put in your pocket? This is the type of technology that is going to be revolutionary. It will make handhelds actually usable. As we are able to put more processor and ram into smaller packages, the 2 weaknesses are screen size and battery life. I think we’re screwed when it comes to batteries. Honestly, has any progress been made on battery development? Everything else is cruising along, but batteries are still as crappy as they ever were (and sometimes crappier).

I have patent pending on a type of expandable screen but it uses current technology. It will change the way you view your digital camera or pda.

I have a colleague who helped me in college who is in the tech industry and is an expert in patents and has 100 or so and so I think he’s pretty familiar with leveraging your patent. Plus, he might have connections to some possible corporate partners.

Also, I would LOVE to see your technology since obviously I would love to have something like that for myself.
