Hawaii Truely is Paradise for Any Traveler

I moved to where I currently live from the beautiful islands of Hawaii. People still ask me why I moved back and I really don’t have a good answer. The best I can say is family, but even then I still wonder to myself why I moved back. Hawaii really is the paradise that you see on TV and the movies. It is everything I ever dreamed it to be.

You may have been to other beach travel destinations in Florida or California. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I go there they were fun, but overall the beaches were a complete disappointment. The water was FREEZING cold, the beaches were brown or grey and it was so hard pack I might as well have been walking on a cement path.

Hawaii is nothing like that. Hawaii’s beaches are just as good as any beach you may have seen on TV. It’s the real deal. They are beautiful white sand almost everywhere and the water is a beautiful green and blue that really is breathe taking. It truely has beaches worth visiting and enjoying on a vacation.

While the beaches are great, I get even more excited about the beautiful water when I have a surf board in my hand. I personally recommend paying someone who knows what they are doing and where to go to surf when you go to Hawaii. If you try it on your own you might get lucky, but in the end you’ll probably pay the price as you hit wave after wave that is too small or too big where it wallops you. However, I had a great instructor who knew when and where to go and I had the time of my life surfing in Hawaii. With the great water and the great beaches it is truely ideal. I don’t care if you don’t think you can surf either. If Reyna can get up on a surf board then you can too.

However, the beach isn’t the only thing in Hawaii. In fact, there are some places of Hawaii that are more amazing than any beach could ever be. A good example of that is Waimea Canyon. It’s known as the Grand Canyon of the pacific for good reason. Watch the video of Waimea Canyon and you’ll see what I mean. I wouldn’t suggest traveling it alone, but with some locals you will find some of the most amazing places.

Looks like Estelle, my favorite video tour guide, found some locals to help her out. Speaking of locals, Hawaii has some of the most amazing people. If you can find a way to get to know the locals then they truely will treat you like Ohana (or family). They take you and do everything they can to show you a good time. They are some of the most amazing entertainers I’ve ever seen. Must be something in the water in Hawaii.

Once you finish drooling and dreaming about Hawaii take a look at all the other videos, free podcasts and travel info on Estelle.tv Talk about a collection of travel videos to amazing places. How much longer until I retire?
