I’ve been working through a number of ideas I have for a small business. I honestly love the thought of owning my own business. It would be a fantastic experience and sure, the end of the rainbow where I harvest my company would be fantastic. However, I’m not sure I have the heart that it takes to be an entrepreneur. I think if I were single it might be different. However, I’m not. I’m married with a 2 year old son and a little girl on the way (due in January). I’m honestly afraid to put them at risk if a business doesn’t work out.

Here’s my current strategy. Work at night when my wife goes to sleep. Write up business plans and submit them to business plan competitions which has taught me a fair amount about business and made me decent money. Create a number of different website to test my skills in internet marketing which will be extremely useful if I start my own business because I will most certainly start an internet business. Continue to mess around with my fundraising idea for coaches called Fantasy High.

In the meantime I’m also throwing around my ideas on a site called Cambrian House and I’m making some spare cash on the side from PayPerPost(if you sign up let me know and I can give you my email so I can say you referred me).

Well, my wife is out of town until tomorrow. What else should I do tonight? I think I’m going to work on all my different projects and then I might just start a new forum for PayPerPost since it is badly needed(or at least wanted).

Is any of this small business or entrepreneurship. It is a small business since it makes me money. I don’t think it’s entrepreneurship, yet.
