Quake 3 in a Web Browser Using Flash
Written by: JuanchitoI have only been addicted to one video game since high school and that game is quake 3. I would also admit that I wasn’t really addicted to it since I wouldn’t ever really play it when I wasn’t getting paid to be at work. Luckily I had a great job that I could play quake while I worked. Don’t ask me the details. Let’s just say I was very blessed.
We would have great Quake tournaments doing capture the flag and it was great because there was a level playing field for all of us since we didn’t have special mods or anything. Although, I wouldn’t say we all played level. Some of us were better than others. However, it was awesome.
So, you can imagine my amazement when I found that someone had spent a LOT of time creating quake in a web browser. That is really something else. I can’t believe someone would have that much time. Sure, it’s not quite the same game, but it is a great way to waste a few minutes of time and reminisce about days gone by.
