US World Cup Soccer (football) Game Streamed Live in English – Probably Illegal
Written by: JuanchitoTake this for what it is. I was browsing the internet to see what kind of coverage I could find on the World Cup. I ran across a website that says how to get WorldCup coverage in English. Luckily it doesn’t matter so much because it is being done on ESPN2 which is standard for cable these days. It is amazing that the technology is there to stream TV online. The next year or 2 is going to be amazing as the tv streaming gets even better and better. It will soon replace TV with internet TV like the IP phone is doing with regular phones.

Looks like I was right. It looks like this stream was taken down from the comments on the board. There are rumors of it being a denial of service attack. I’m not sure they can be trusted. Maybe the program just sucks.
I’m just happy to see that someone is working on this kind of software. That means we are close to having TV anywhere we have a computer. Now if they can just make it all legal so I can do it then I’d be happy.
I found this other way to get around ESPN 360. I can’t believe that ESPN wouldn’t test for this kind of thing:

ESPN 360 Free Until July 19th regardless of cable provider. I think that the quality is much better on ESPN360 than any of the other streaming technologies for the World Cup.
