Great Audio Files on LDS.org
Written by: JuanchitoI was going to www.lds.org today so that I could read the latest ensign and espescially the First Presidency message. As I did so I was looking at what mp3 downloads I could do so that I could burn them to cd and listen to them in the car. I couldn’t believe how many great things the church had. There are a ton more things they could add to it, but there was a good start on things that I could listen to to make my commute to work more uplifting. It was so great. The book they had available in mp3 that blew me away was Jesus the Christ. What a fabolous book and all in audio format. Now I just have to figure out how many CD’s I’ll have to burn for the whole book. I guess I need to get an MP3 player in my car, because then I could burn the whole book probably whereas with just an audio CD I can only burn part. With conference I could burn one session of conference on an audio CD. With just burning them as MP3’s I could burn 3 whole conferences. What a difference.
Here’s the link to the site:

You can also sign up for email updates when they add more audio files to it. I hope the church continues to do more with this.

I also think it is wonderful to have all this resources at hand. I have been called to work with Young Men and I am showing them the resources offered by the Church on the web, and how they can burn these MP·s to a cd and take them home. My wife and children also enjoyed conference talks at home using the PC.
