Hawaii Truely is Paradise for Any Traveler
Written by: JuanchitoI moved to where I currently live from the beautiful islands of Hawaii. People still ask me why I moved back and I really don’t have a good answer. The best I can say is family, but even then I still wonder to myself why I moved back. Hawaii really is the paradise that you see on TV and the movies. It is everything I ever dreamed it to be.
You may have been to other beach travel destinations in Florida or California. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I go there they were fun, but overall the beaches were a complete disappointment. The water was FREEZING cold, the beaches were brown or grey and it was so hard pack I might as well have been walking on a cement path.
Hawaii is nothing like that. Hawaii’s beaches are just as good as any beach you may have seen on TV. It’s the real deal. They are beautiful white sand almost everywhere and the water is a beautiful green and blue that really is breathe taking. It truely has beaches worth visiting and enjoying on a vacation.

While the beaches are great, I get even more excited about the beautiful water when I have a surf board in my hand. I personally recommend paying someone who knows what they are doing and where to go to surf when you go to Hawaii. If you try it on your own you might get lucky, but in the end you’ll probably pay the price as you hit wave after wave that is too small or too big where it wallops you. However, I had a great instructor who knew when and where to go and I had the time of my life surfing in Hawaii. With the great water and the great beaches it is truely ideal. I don’t care if you don’t think you can surf either. If Reyna can get up on a surf board then you can too.

However, the beach isn’t the only thing in Hawaii. In fact, there are some places of Hawaii that are more amazing than any beach could ever be. A good example of that is Waimea Canyon. It’s known as the Grand Canyon of the pacific for good reason. Watch the video of Waimea Canyon and you’ll see what I mean. I wouldn’t suggest traveling it alone, but with some locals you will find some of the most amazing places.

Looks like Estelle, my favorite video tour guide, found some locals to help her out. Speaking of locals, Hawaii has some of the most amazing people. If you can find a way to get to know the locals then they truely will treat you like Ohana (or family). They take you and do everything they can to show you a good time. They are some of the most amazing entertainers I’ve ever seen. Must be something in the water in Hawaii.
Once you finish drooling and dreaming about Hawaii take a look at all the other videos, free podcasts and travel info on Estelle.tv Talk about a collection of travel videos to amazing places. How much longer until I retire?
An Extraordinary Experiment in Taking Enormous Pictures
Written by: JuanchitoI really don’t know how to describe how amazed I am by the pictures you can find on Gigapxl. They took a 100 pound camera that takes these enormous well defined panorama pictures that are fantastic. The amazing part is that they are able to zoom in on the picture without losing any quality.
Honestly, I rarely have cared about the quality of digital images, but seeing an image this large really says something about the importance of the number of pixels your digital camera can handle. I guess all digital cameras aren’t alike. I bet working with these images is a lot of fun. I wish they had a picture of the camera itself.
Regionalized Search Engine Marketing
Written by: JuanchitoEveryone has been talking about Web 2.0 and all the various services that it provides. However, it seems to me that when you talk about search engine marketing or SEO then it becomes very regionalized.
Here’s an example of a company that takes care of Search Engine Marketing in Austin. You can read on their website all about what they take care of. They work in every facet of online marketing such as affilliate marketing, paid search advertising, natural search engine optimization, pay per call management, search engine marketing training and search engine marketing analysis.
For all those users that need search engine marketing in Austin, you should get ahold of this company. It is the largest search engine marketing firm in Austin, and the fastest growing in Texas. If you’re from Texas, you know that everything is bigger in Texas. I guess that applies to search engine marketing too.
2 NBC Shows Streamed Online - Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip and Twenty Good Years
Written by: JuanchitoNBC today announced it will stream the premieres of two of its most-new series before they broadcast them. It’s the latest in a string of news to suggest to local broadcasters they are facing a brave new world.
Teaming with Warner Bros. Television and AOL, NBC will premiere “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and “Twenty Good Years” commercial-free on AOL.com, according to statement.
The shows will be available on-demand for the entire week prior to their network broadcast.
Thank you NBC and internetnews. This is a model that each and every show should adopt. In fact, it shouldn’t just stream the first show, but all of the shows for the entire season. Possibly the rest of the shows for the season could play after the orginal.
