PayPerPost and Ted Murphy’s True Hollywood Story

You may have recently seen me talk about a website called PayPerPost where you put ads on blogs and get paid for it. Easy huh? If you sign up put my email address: payperpost[at]crashutah{dot}com

Well, it turns out that Ted Murphy(who started PayPerPost) is more of a genius than I could have ever imagined.

I just found out that PayPerPost is a big elaborate scheme by Ted Murphy to try and hook up Willie with a married woman named Colleen. Ted started paying people to blog about opportunities so he’d have a forum to be able to make Willie look good in the eyes of Colleen. The man is a genius! I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone do something so elaborate just to get a woman.

I wonder how long Ted will continue to pay me to blog about different topics all in the name of Willie looking good. Ted seems to have recently gotten desperate posting Willie as the blogger of the week on PayPerPost and even fabricated Willie being popular and getting 30,000 hits after being dug.

Well, I’d like to personally ask Colleen to not give in to Willie. I don’t want Ted to stop paying me to post.

However, the craziest part of this whole thing is that Ted Murphy and Willie are the same person. Thank you for the money TedWillie.

Spam in the Can

I was browsing through my email the other day and came across the following spam message:

Good Day!

Watch the stream of potential customers passing by your web site.

What if they’ll never see your website in the sea of Inet information?

Don’t let that happen anymore!

Make your website a visible island in this sea by registering with major Search
Engines.

Let our professionals do it for you. See details here: http://www.editedfromblog.com

Best regards,
Lauryn

You’ve got to be kidding right?

First off, this is a piece of spam. Do people even read spam anymore?

Second, if you did finally read this spam would you actually believe what is written in this email? Anyone who talks about making your website visible by registering with major search engines doesn’t have a single clue about how to market a website online.

SPAMMERS: STOP wasting my time and yours and at least be creative in your spam attempts. This type of email just shouldn’t do it anymore. Plus, if it does then every person that pays for this service should be required to remove their webpage and go get a job at the local McDonalds.

NASCAR and SPEED TV

One thing I may never understand is why someone would go and pack themselves with tens of thousands of people out in the stands of a NASCAR event. Sure, that might have been fun before we had TV, but now nascar is so much better to watch from the comfort of home. The food is better, the temperature is cooler and the lazy boy is definitely softer. In fact, with what’s happening on TV these days you could watch every Nascar event there is.

A lot of professional sports have their very own network. For example, NFL network and NBA TV. Nascar will never have that problem. SPEED has already taken care of all of Nascar’s needs. The Nascar section of the SPEED website is even better with plenty of news commentary and video. Forget the track and sidle up to your computer and TV and get all the NASCAR you need. SPEED’s got are Nascar needs all taken care of.

Diamonds Not a Girl’s Best Friend

CNN officially reported something today that my wife may want to disagree with.

Here’s the title of the article:
Study: Tech replaces diamonds as girl’s best friend

I don’t know why they needed to do a study on this. How many girls do you see walking around with diamonds? Sure, the movie stars have bling, but these days you are much more likely to see an iPod on a girl than a diamon. That’s good for all of us guys out here.

Online Price Comparison Tool

I’ve recently been learning about some of the amazing tools that have been created for purchasing online. For example, there’s a nice post about eBay and a Freeware eBay Sniping Tool on the blog Something for Nothing that was really interesting. It takes the buying experience to whole new level. It’s all about saving money and being able to find good stuff cheap.

I just recently found another important tool in your quest for the cheapest price for your product. It’s a price comparison tool from Pricepirates(nice name). Here’s a summary of some of their features:

* eBay auction search in up to 13 countries
* Price research at the world’s largest product catalog, including 95 percent of the top 300 merchants in the U.S. and the majority of the leading online stores in the U.K.
* Searches 3 Amazon Marketplaces (.com, co.uk, and .de)
* Extended search options (PayPal, categories, regions)
* Integrated alert function reminds you of auctions ending soon by SMS or message window
* Optimized for Buyertools Reminder
* Ingenious statistics function
* Further functions

The things I have found most useful in the software is of course the comparison feature. eBay isn’t always the best price. It often is, but sometimes websites are selling the same product for even cheaper than you can pay for it on eBay. I love that the program is adware/spyware free. However, the best part of the program is the statistics it can keep on a product. Maybe I’m a statistics junky. I love seeing trends of what’s happening. It really takes the online buying experience to a whole new level.
