Houston isn’t probably the first place you would think of when you think of Rodeo. Although, it probably should be. Yes, I know it’s true that all Texans aren’t cowboys. However, some of the very best cowboys in the world are at the Houston Rodeo. Take a look at the atomosphere you’ll be in at the Houston Rodeo:

If you get a seat up front and center you will love the action. In fact, up front in center is the very best because you won’t just get to enjoy the raw talent and strength(and insanity) of the rodeo, but you’ll also get access to a concert from a great country artist. I just found a list of the artists that will be performing at the Houston Rodeo. Take a look:

This is like a whose who of country music. You’ve got some redneck women. Some I hope you dances. Some Talk about me’s. Some Concrete angels. Some Say Something country. etc etc. If you can’t find an artist you like in that list then you might need to get your ears checked.

Houston Rodeo Tickets are available now. I just wish that they had season passes to the rodeo. Can you imagine 20 days of rodeo and great concerts? Cha Ching!!

I have only been addicted to one video game since high school and that game is quake 3. I would also admit that I wasn’t really addicted to it since I wouldn’t ever really play it when I wasn’t getting paid to be at work. Luckily I had a great job that I could play quake while I worked. Don’t ask me the details. Let’s just say I was very blessed.

We would have great Quake tournaments doing capture the flag and it was great because there was a level playing field for all of us since we didn’t have special mods or anything. Although, I wouldn’t say we all played level. Some of us were better than others. However, it was awesome.

So, you can imagine my amazement when I found that someone had spent a LOT of time creating quake in a web browser. That is really something else. I can’t believe someone would have that much time. Sure, it’s not quite the same game, but it is a great way to waste a few minutes of time and reminisce about days gone by.

This is my first in a series of posts about groups, organizations and people that I think should start blogging today.

Today’s culprit is all of those real estate agents out there. Living in Las Vegas it seems like every other person I meet is a real estate agent. Therefore, you have got to find ways to differentiate yourself from the crowd. Blogging is a great way to do that. As a potential buyer, I’m most interested in trying to get a feel for the knowledge and skill of my real estate agent. Plus, I want to have an idea if this is someone who will give it to me straight. A blog is the perfect avenue to demonstrate who you are and your skill as a real estate agent. Many of you may find out that blogging will also allow you to further enhance your knowledge of the market.

Besides the fact that you are going to look like a real estate super hero because you have a blog about it, blogging also is completely indexed by search engines. Blogs are infinitely better at getting added to search engines than a normal website. Why? First, because a blog has a bunch of WORDS. Words is what search engines like to see and use as the basis for their searches. Pages with lots of good keywords do well on search engines and therefore search engines Love blogs. Plus, there are now tons of search engines just for blogs. They are becoming more and more popular every day. This will become a huge internet resource in the future.

Also, if you write interesting things to your blog then you will create a readership that will want to purchase from you when they are ready to buy.

I know, many of you are thinking that this idea is great, but you don’t have the technical skill to do it. Let me give you a test to see if you can blog. There is a link that says comments on this post. Click it and type in your name, email and a comment. If you are able to submit a comment like that to this blog then you can get started blogging. It doesn’t take technical skill to blog, but it does take the skill of browsing a web page. That’s all!
