NFL and College Football
Written by: JuanchitoToday I was listening to the radio when they talked about an article comparing college football to the NFL and debating which one is better. Here’s an excerpt from the article that prompted the debate:
The request to provide 20 reasons college football is better than the NFL is not a fair one.
How can anyone defend the humdrum nature of 110,000 screaming fashion-forward (orange, I hear, is hot) Tennessee fans against parity (NFL motto: Excellence just gets in the way)?
How can anyone justify the depth of antipathy that Ohio State and Michigan fans have for each other when compared to the thrills of a Houston-Jacksonville game in October (or the rematch three weeks later)?
What is the worth of winning the Little Brown Jug, or the Old Oaken Bucket, or the Egg Bowl, when compared to the $26.5 million guaranteed to a former North Carolina State defensive end benched in the middle of last season?
Oh, the sleepless nights of trying to face such a task. Oh, the agony.
Oh, and one other thing: Only 20 reasons? Sure you don’t want 40?
I have to disagree completely. They are both great and can’t be compared. Just enjoy them both.
NFL Regular Season starts 9/7/2006 and ends with Super Bowl on 2/4/2007 That’s 5 months of pure bliss. College football starts for me on 9/2/2006(labor day). What couldn’t please a man more than enjoying BYU smacking around their opponents?
I’ll tell you what. Purchasing Football Tickets and seeing the game live. I don’t care if it’s Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, Indianapolis Colt or any college football team. A live football game is not just football, but an experience.
The good part is that you can go to great online places like Tickets4Concerts and purchase tickets to any football game nationwide. No more need to wait in lines or worry about tickets being sold out. Just buy your football tickets without getting out of your chair.
I can smell the freshly cut grass already!

Free Site Map - Great for Google Sitemaps
Written by: JuanchitoI was looking for a way to take one of my old sites on make a sitemap. Wordpress has a nice plugin, but I have a webpage that I manually created a while ago that needed a sitemap.
Luckily I found a free site map generator. My only problem with it is that the free version only do so many pages. You have to pay to get the full sitemap. However, it was good enough for my small site.
