Free Online TV – Including Free HDTV Channels, ESPN, HBO, Movie Channels All Streamed Online

Written by: Juanchito

With over 184 streaming channels including major networks such as ESPN, HBO and HDTV and the ability to not be locked into the aggregator ’s website, this the real channelchooser killer. They also just added HBO Movies and HBO Movies 2 to 4TV.com’s(http://www.4tv.com) list.

I’m not sure how legal it is. In fact, I think that the laws surrounding it are still developing. My favorite part of it all is that it proves that the technology is there to make streaming live television is just around the corner.

4TV.com(http://www.4tv.com) seems like a nice version of online TV since it only requires a web browser. You don’t have to download a special program

You can see some of my other Free Online TV streaming posts:
ESPN 360 Free July 1 – July 19 – All World Cup Matches Online Free
Watch NBC Treasure Hunters Live Online – No Commercials
ABC TV Streams Lost, Desperate Housewives, Alias, Commander in Chief Episodes Free
Free TV Downloads – Can this really be legal?
US World Cup Soccer (football) Game Streamed Live in English(ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 HBO, CNN, ETC) – Probably Illegal

Google Video now localized for the U.K., Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands

Google announced localized versions of Google video for the U.K., Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands.

Now when uploading your video content, you can be sure that users in your country can view it in a relevant local interface. And when looking for videos to embed on your site, you’ll see specifically what’s popular in Canada, or the U.K.. To embed videos into your site quickly and easily, look for the Email – Blog – Post to MySpace button next to the video you’d like to display.

I love the idea that google video could be localized. First, because then it gives you a new set of “Top” videos for each country. I think the Italy google video is cool since Italy just won the World Cup.

The email-blog-post to myspace is a cool idea, but I was dissappointed that they didn’t have WordPress on the list of blogs.

STA Travel is Offering a Summer Sweepstakes for a Chance to Win a Trip to Spain

Written by: Juanchito

STA Travel is holding a contest to win a trip to Spain to follow in the footsteps of the MTV’s The Real World Key West cast. I’ve used STA travel before to go to Italy and Holland and I was quite happy with their service. If I could win a free trip to Spain from them I’d be ecstatic.

I also found it interesting that STA Travel is on myspace(http://www.myspace.com/statravel). Good luck and if you win I’ll be happy to take your extra ticket.

MySpace Moves Into #1 for All Internet Sites According to Hitwise

Written by: Juanchito

Hitsite announced today that MySpace moved into #1 for all Internet sites. I wish that they gave more data on how they came up with this number. However, it is amazing that myspace is as big as it is. I’m still very interested in how myspace is going to be able to generate revenue without alienating its users. I think that will be harder than it looks. Someone suggested a craigslist or ebay type situation to generate revenue. Might work, but is probably not quite right.

One important thing to think about myspace is that I think that most of its hits are people reading people’s comments on their own site and sending replies to those comments. This is very similar to a publicly viewable email system. Who could have ever guessed that this would be so popular?

I’m interested in doing something similar to this and facebook on the high school level. I think there are a number of restrictions and legal requirements that I’d have to deal with, but I think it has a lot of potential. I guess only time will tell.

Internet Marketing Voodoo’s Podcasts

Written by: Juanchito

I just got my first iPod given to me. I of course would have just bought an mp3 player instead of an iPod if I had actually bought it. Either way, I was interested to check out some different podcasts. In my search I ran across a bunch of nice podcasts form Internet Marketing Voodoo(http://www.internetmarketingvoodoo.com). I listened to a couple podcasts on RSS feeds and email marketing.

I was impressed by some of the personalities they were able to get. It also looked like they had some real targeted information for women and hispanics. Maybe those weren’t of interest because those aren’t my target markets. I wish they would have had more content on some controversial topics like PayPerPost, click fraud, and other topics which are causing problems to internet marketers. The podcasts were very professional though.
